Am I the only one who realizes that Santana simply releases albums where he has other people write and sing the songs, and then he plays the same guitar solo over them?
Why are we letting this happen?!?
Someone needs to do something about this! The singer from Nickelback is a lousy singer, but he still shouldn't be booked as "Santana (featuring Chad Kroeger)." He should get full credit for that crap.
What is this world coming to when you can make a career out of playing the same guitar solo for thirty years. I mean, I'll give him "Oye Como Va," but that's where it stops. "In the Summertime" was a great song, but you don't see Mungo Jerry trying to parlay the "ugh che ugh" chorus into a decade spanning travesty.
Wake up, people. We are being duped.
